Yesterday I went to a all day training class on Azamara and Celebrity cruises. Velma, Hoover, Bob and John also attendend the training. I found it educational as we went in groups from class to class every 45 minutes. They gave us alot of goodies and fed us like on the ship. Inbetween class they had shorbet and little finger desserts. Also we had breakfast; lunch and finger food at the end of the day. They gave us all certificates with our names on it for going and they drew names and some of us won little prizes with the cruise line logo on it. I did not know anything about Azamara before yesterday and I would love to go on that ship. If they have any specials I might do it.

  2. While it was a great session, it does not compare to the one several of us went to a few years back held at Club Sport where in between sessions they might have chair massages, ice cold wet towels for your face and body, chocolates w/ specialty coffees, etc. On that occasion, I felt the trainers were better and the reps performed to a theme, I believe it was Mission Impossible where they sang and danced. At the end you could bid for prizes based on the cards collected during the course of the day for participation. I seem to remember they gave out some cruises too. Also there were far fewer agents so we all got more individual attention.

I did get a lot out of the CruisingPower and cruisetour sessions and the opera singer at the end was a nice touch. Many of my travel agency owner friends who have cruised every line out there rate Azamara very highly, some even put it at the top of the heap so definitely it would behoove all of us to sail on Celebrity and Azamara when we can. Seems like NACOA often has fams on these lines.

Our clients will lve all the logo items we collected.
